Considering where the program started, Leavitt's tenure was much better than mediocre. Watching the program grow and make something of a name out of nothing will remain the high point for some time.

Not a huge fan of Leavitt, but IMO you got it spot on.

ESPN is so slanted against us and such a shady network. Think we can get the student section to organize and make up anti- ESPN signs for our home games? I bet they would.

Shocking that they would ignore us!  We have won so many national titles!  We have millions of fans all over the country and the world!

Ok, maybe they are focusing on the conferences and big schools.  Why would they do that?

Oh yeah, money.

You're replies are so typical and boring. You seem more anti USF then anything.

I do not disagree, I was looking at it from what I would see would be a fair criticism. I did not always agree with what Leavitt did but was not a harsh critic in that I was cynical that the program would be a winning or even a .500 program when it started in 1997. I thought the cards were stacked against us especially since Chris Thomas was really the only media guy who regularly talked USF football. I mock those who think USF should be able to out recruit or compare us with storied programs who had been winning for many years before I even started watching football.

I think we are in good hands now.

The Stanford blog is the AAC base of operations until they replace the AAC blog.  I got a 24 hour suspension on ESPN today.
