I just moved from Tampa to North Carolina and I want to know the best package to get for games.  I had ESPN3 before and I was happy to a certain extent.  If  ESPN Gameplan gets all of the same Football games I would rather do that so I can watch it on TV.  Any help anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated.

THanks

I found a year ago that the sports pack on Direct TV had the games that were not on local TV; I'm not sure what service you have.

I have Dish so they offer ESPN game plan and not ESPN 3. But what I dont is if the games on Game PLan are the same games on ESPN3. I know ESPN3 carried almost all of our games the last couple of years.

I added the sports pack specifically because of that.

I had Dish last year (have Charter now) and ESPN 3 was how I watched most of the games, if they weren't on ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU.  I've never used GamePlan before, but for some reason, I don't think they offer games on GamePlan without them being on ESPN3.  I could be wrong, though.

I have Direct TV sports pack and have comcast Internet. Thus, I have both options. If you had to make a choice I would say use sports pack as you would only miss one maybe two games and that would be the one against 1aa programs.

Pretty sure every game on GamePlan is on ESPN3, but not every game on ESPN3 is included in GamePlan. Could be wrong.

My Opinion...Don't by gameplan unless you want to waste your money.  I used to spend $150 or whatever game plan cost before...until I realized I could get all the games on gameplan, also on ESPN3 for FREE.

Your  best bet is to sign on with an ISP that allows access to ESPN3. It has ALL the ESPN Game Plan games included and access is free. You just have to be using one of the ISPs signed on with ESPN. That will save you $120 a year PLUS the games are in HD. ESPN Gameplan has always been in SD. Really bad SD. Don't know if they are upgrading it. I have an XBox 360. They have an awesome screen app for ESPN, that's how I watch.

Here is the list of ISPs with ESPN.

I use the psychic network.

No commercials.

No blackouts.

And I get the exact score given to me before the games so I can place my bets with complete assurance.
