USF Lacrosse?

Does USF have a lacrosse team? This is a fast-growing sport and I'd love to see us perhaps make some early investments into the sport to build USF into a potential power.

Yes, a club team. I don't they're that competitive though, at least they weren't when I as a student.

A little off topic, but last night I drove by the new UT lacrosse stadium on Kennedy and it was pretty stunning lit up ...

Only a club team.  I would love for USF to go NCAA with lacrosse. Its a fast growing sport in Florida and their are only two programs in the state (women's at Florida, men's at JU). It would also appeal to the ACC who is big on lacrosse.

I played LAX as a kid growing up in Maryland. 

 

While I was playing, I was in the best shape of my life. 

 

This is an awesome story about a 6 foot 7, 320 lb, 40-year old freshman who played LAX at Catonsville - CCBC outside of Baltimore I remember from a few years ago:
