For those of you who attended the game on Saturday, what did you think of the group they had sing the national anthem?

 

They sounded like a mini Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Yes?

First note sounded odd but then they were very good after that.

What I meant was the group itself, not how they performed.

I wonder where the Rays draw the line for which groups they invite? For instance, would they let a group from the Church of Scientology sing the national anthem?

I was just wondering if they would let the atheists of tampa bay sing it as well.

Pretty sure lots of groups sing there from schools, churches, etc.  Don't go to a ton of games but have seen a variety of people/groups do the anthem.  I have no problems with it.

Quick story about Roseanne. Watched a roast of her on TV and at the end when it was her turn to speak, she finished up with singing the anthem.  Not a world class voice but made up for the debacle above.
