Last time I was there, my friend and I did drive to a casino in Miss. Didn't seem like a bad drive.

Most fans can't walk 20 feet after spending a few hours on Beale Street...that's why staying in Downtown Memphis is sooooo much fun. With the FedEx Forum right ON Beale Street (practically), Liberty Bowl just a few miles away...and with numerous hotels from Westin to Peabody and others "right there"...staying in Downtown Memphis is where its at....plus, probably a heck of a lot safer trying to drive an hour after having fun on Beale Street. I just get tired of that place though, after 20+ years of going there. I like staying in Germantown now. Easy drive/cab ride in and out of the Beale area and its a lot cleaner and safer
