Brion Carnes to transfer

He has to sit out a year to play a year. So USF would be making a two-year investment in a single season of an athlete who hasn't played much football in the last three seasons. Having said that, the schools he considered most besides Nebraska were USF and WKU (because Taggart was there), so there should be a lot of familiarity, if not mutual interest.

I'm not sure it makes much sense tying up 2 years of scholarship for 1 year of play from him.  He's not an automatic impact player his senior season.  He should have signed here to begin with, but how many times have we said that before.  Good luck with him in the 1AAs

If he wants to walk on then it's a no-brainer, but I wouldn't waste a scholarship on him.

No interest in this kid. Most of the schools that offered him would not promise that he would be at QB, and he has obviously proved those schools right. Also have heard horrible stories about this kid's attitude from those in the know.
