Then over the weekend, UCF changes their mind? Strange. Did they not want to compete with Tags on this guy and felt it would be easier to blame grades? The 180 degree turn was pretty quick. Worth the risk? If he's willing to work hard enough in the classroom to get it done, I'm sure he's willing to work just as hard to get us that Big East championship. Best of luck to him. If it doesn't look like he can make it, don't offer. And if UCiF isn't chancing it........ methinks he is a bad risk.

That has to be it since both schools are pretty much identical in terms of academics. Or they just don't have the available scholarships available to take a chance on this kid since they are under scholarship sanctions. Maybe they can't take the risk and we can since we have available scholarships left.

I'd be sure to run it by our Admissions Massacre team first to make sure we had a solid outline of what needed to happen for him to get in.

I believe they only have 1 available scholarship left

If UCF is already borderline APR fail, they can't take any more chances.

They knew their scholly availability four days ago. Did grades come out or did USF get into the picture?
