However, practicing those first couple weeks at Camp Cupcake allows the practice fields on campus to survive the non-stop rigors of fall practice. The practice fields come pretty loose and lead to injury with two-a-days. Keeping those fields in great shape is one benefit of Camp Cupcake. Camp Cupcake. I don't care who you are, that's funny right there!
Whyyyyyyy? Posted January 30, 2013 Group: Member Topic Count: 8 Content Count: 70 Reputation: 18 Days Won: 0 Joined: 07/30/2012 Share Posted January 30, 2013 Going to Vero has its benefits: It gives the players a chance to get away from the campus and focus on nothing But FOOTBALL.It is also something USF can sell to its future recruits as well and allows them to feel like a Pro Team going to camp. It also give the school exposure over on the East Coast of Florida, allows the Bulls fans over there to see the team practice, bring their kids and develope a fan base as well. Have you ever been through a two a day? all you do is football

Less chance of heat related issues(Southie excluded of course) and they have put a lot of work in to make this a top notch facility. I Not according to Weather.com http://www.weather.com/weather/wxclimatology/monthly/graph/USFL0500 http://www.weather.com/weather/wxclimatology/monthly/graph/USFL0481 Keep the money local. The cost savings could be used for improvements on USF's practice facilities. By your own source, August temp readings are lower in Vero, Add ocean breeze to that formula and the difference is staggering. I have lived in both, trust me, it's a big difference
