I am excited for Ely, too bad we lose a year (Unless it is waived somehow). We need a QB so bad and he would just fit right in with his SEC experience

Ely is a prostyle QB, with these OL commits this offense is an RB short of an extreme makeover the likes of Ty P ain't ever seen.

Alabama will have 6 QBs on roster without him there.  He was 3 of 4 for 42 yards and a TD spread over a few games so he'd definitely have to sit out a year.  Many Alabama folks are saying he's already being considered out the door to USF.  Won't help for next year, but year after, we'd have a "fix" if no one came in this year and lit it up.
