USF should aim higher than Boise State.  I see USF as a yearly NC contender when they get into a power 5 conference.  The recruiting area, the tv market, and hopefully the improved records and play will allow us to get into the ACC or Big 12 during the next conference reallignment.

In all seriousness, though ... Boise State is a great type of team to aim for, they've accomplished everything we realistically want to accomplish - conference title, BCS bowl and win, multiple 10-win seasons, etc.  Don't think NC should be in our vocabulary until we've done those things.

Why wouldn't we shoot to be Boise St. They have an awesome program that people like, they are successful year after year...On campus stadium

There is no Power 5, it is the Power 4 and everyone else.

 

And we won't be in it.

 

That said, our recruiting class this year, while good, will eventually pale in comparison with what we can do after 4-5 years under Tags (I'm hoping!)
