What are your football expectations for 2013

McNeese State

FAU

UConn

UCF

Toss Ups:

Cincy

Rutgers

Miami

Sure losses:

Michigan State

Louisville

I think it all depends on what games we get from BE-West. If we get teams like Temple or Memphis, those are easy victories, but if we get teams as good as Boise we could be SOL. My guess is we end up with 7 wins. I think it's to early to guess though. Lets see what our BE-W games are, and what the recruiting class ends up looking like.

Ucf is most likely a loss...I really think some of the expectations on here are to high for taggerts first year...

I propose we implement a one day ban on anybody who doesn't know our new coach's name ....

2. Do this thread after the schedule comes out.

3. See what the recruiting class looks like - especially on the Juco level.

I expect to beat McNeese State ...

This. Plus I expect to beat UCF. Otherwise my expectations are very low in a rebuilding year. I think I would rather lose to McNeese State than lose to UCF.

too many variables in conference to predict. coach T will have young men with experience behind them especially at OLINE which should be improved. the D'line should improve. we don't know who the QB will be. we will be playing the spread more and more so we will need to shore up the DB's or we'll be toast once again. how healthy will the recieving core be? we should be able to run the ball I think Skip had trouble judging talent their at RB so that's another variable, is Battles a factor?

We've lost too many experienced players, have a new coach, and a new system. We need to have patience and build for long term. The recruits, in my opinion, won't come until HS players believe we are for real and that will take a while. My biggest fear is that we will lose to UCF and that could very well happen. After which, I will be found in a gutter on Florida ave. Drinking Ripple from a paper bag.

I think we can take the off season is and see how it shakes out. I just wanted a barometer for how people are feeling. The majority are saying 6 or 7 wins, which seems pretty optimistic to me.

My only expectations every year are pretty much to beat the 1AA team(s)... everything else is a hope.
