D-line will hopefully be as nasty as their hype was coming out of high school. Wins will depend a lot on who's the QB

We have no QB or RB, the oline was suspect at times, dline got no pressure and our best DB, Webster, is gone. We have a new coach that is bringing a new system that imo is closer to what Holtz was trying to do than what was run before Holtz got here. So, it reasons that Holtz was recruiting kids to fit his scheme, who in turn fit CWT's scheme better than the spread. 6-6, and a bowl bid. McNeese State & Florida Atlantic, topped off by DOUBLING - that's right DOUBLING - this year's conference win tally with a total of TWO games. And remember, sports fans, when the competition smells blood in the water, those pearly-whites come a' gnashing. The competition KNOWS that USF, weak as it was last season, lost twenty-five players and will be ripe for the re-picking this season. They're just like us. Remember when the schedule would come out and we'd look at it and say..."Oh, look, we play [insert suspect opponent here]...that's a win".

This season was going to be BRUTAL even if we had dominated this season as we're losing a ton of guys and what we have coming is unproven/untested. I'll enjoy the season more though knowing we'll have someone in there who cares and it's a step in the right direction. We could win more, but the odds aren't for it. We need to temper expectations next season.

If we get teams like Temple or Memphis, those are easy victories, but if we get teams as good as Boise we could be SOL. My guess is we end up with 7 wins. I think it's to early to guess though. Lets see what our BE-W games are, and what the recruiting class ends up looking like.
