On what basis?

Probably due to the fact that he's Doug right hand man and most certainly had a say in Coach Holtz's contract extension.

As far as his interview; didn't hear it, but based on those footnotes I'd be very scared about the future of our program.

No way! I like this guys enthusiasm and love for the university. Getting kind of old hearing people piss and moan and wantibg to firing everybody who is associated with USF athletics.

Not sure how McGillis could have changed the fortunes of our football team. He may work closely with Woolard but Woolard is still his superior. And he has nothing to do with coaching. He does respond to emails (and thus responsive) and was genuinely enthusiastic about improving our uniforms last year and the school in general. Don't know what more we could want from someone in his limited position.

Bill is great yes, but he's only busting his ass for USF so he can get an AD job at a big time university.

Make hay when the sun shines Woogie. I have no clue what Bill does, but anyone attempting to put USF in a better light receives a thumbs up from me... even if he's job jumping a year or two from now.

You would be wrong when you get those feelings. Have only gotten to know Bill a little in the last couple of years. Seems loyal to the program (doesn't mean he wouldn't take an AD job but I think he came from one). Very positive attitude. He gave us a tour of the dome and sold us on buying basketball tix this year. I like the guy.
