Great job girls!

Let's not forget the sports who are doing our university and themselves proud in the middle of this football debacle.

Go Bulls. Will woman's soccer take over for the poor excuse of a football program we have. Happy for the woman's soccer team.

Women's soccer overachieved a bit this year. Men's soccer, on the other hand, was plagued with injuries and woefully underachieved.

I hadn't given this much thought until I was at the game yesterday looking over the roster, but the women's team should be in great position to be even better next year. Lots of talent that are not seniors. They will lose 2 starting defenders and Taylor Patterson (midfielder) who will be a key loss, but lots of contributors coming back.

Our RPI was in the 50's going into the match yesterday. We have an outside shot at the NCAA's even if we lose the next one. One more win and we should be a strong contender for an at large. Two more wins and we get the automatic bid.

Our men's team should make it too, their RPI is good. But even with a great RPI, I am a little nervous.

Up 1-0 early in second half .... http://www.cstv.com/...=&startschool=

A college play clock counting up like the majors? Weird - no?

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

Last I checked the scoreboard doesn't have a spot for current bank balance on it.
