With most programs one would think with this many late losses and poor defensive schemes and general regression someone/media would be demanding answers and/or the coach would be implementing some kind of changes. I cannot count how many times the team has lost late and all we hear from Holtz is the same old same old. If this guy is under any pressure it is amazing how he can continue to just say the same stuff over and over. He has spent two plus seasons playing soft zones that have failed most everytime. Cosh is bad, but this problem pre-existed his time here. In amost every field if one is failing over and over changes are made or you are out or forced to change.

Each game I grow more disallusioned because I don't see anything from the staff that makes me think they realize the problems and are going to find a fix.

The most recent press conference Holtz heaps praise on the front seven for the Louisville game. For what- holding their RB's in check. Did I miss something? Wasn't Bridgewater breaking lose over and over, were there more plays for loss, pressure on that last drive.

I will always be a fan but I wonder does anyone see areas that would make us think things are going to improve? I am looking for hope.

Man, I thought there was going to be some breaking news here, but alas ... it's just another thread saying the same thing that's been said in hundreds of other threads ... :(

Totally get your point BullDut. The media is handling Skip with "soft white gloves" No one seems to be asking him the tuff questions. Its as if the Media/ reporters are afraid to ask him the pointed/ direct questions.

If the Rays, Bucs,Lightning, Gators, Noles were losing this bad the papers, radio and the TV would be all over them. Maybe we should direct our questions and anger toward them to find out why they are treating him differently?

2 million dollars a year, 5 straight losses and 1 BE win in two years should change that thought process. In any other industry if you underperform as Skip and Company have you would have to face the tuff questions.

No, a sucky USF is what they want. They can continue their Gatorcentric or Buccentric coverage and do not have to worry about lil 'ol USF. Why do you think DUImig, who NEVER talked about USF, pounded the drum to get Leavitt dismissed?

If Romney isn't elected as President of the United States, then I nominate him to come in and fix this program.

Sounds plausible to me...

I'm showing tremendous restraint in not creating a thread to dump all this **** in, similar to the one on the SOF board for the UCF drivel ...

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
