We were a 2 year old program when the streak started and only 6 when it was stopped, mostly playing teams that were at our level, or higher.... including a ranked Urban Meyer BGSU team if memory serves me correctly. There is no "carefully orchestrated" ******** that goes with that record.

The fact was that we were transitioning form 1-AA to 1-A and our home schedule was not exactly ridiculous but we also had been building a pretty decent team along the way as well. One of our better teams-- although probably so-so by current BCS standards was the group in 2002--- who really got this streak going. That was some really awesome football to watch.

We may not have been winning a conference (screw you CUSA-- we could've won it 2002) or going bowling (don't get me started)-- what a great year of football 2002 was-- the only bad part was the trip to Arkansas because even our other loss to Oklahoma was a pretty thrilling game to be at despite the loss.

that was a fun streak-- but no one really got too crazy about the meaning of it-- we knew we had played a lot of Jacksonville States etc in those 21 games. But for some MORON to actually say USF orchestrated some winning streak ignores some of the bigger wins we had during that streak-- and the actual growth of the program over the course of the time.

fking Hofstra and Gino can KMA--- biotch arse school shut down its football program just to avoid letting us get our flip.
