IT was YOUR athletic department that refused to allow the FSU band to come. That was classless, and par for the course to an athletic program that is more conference USA than anything else. But this is just one small reason of many why UCF is going to pass you guys by....for one, they have their own staduim, and have a lot more history. And now that they are in the Big East with you guys, watch how the Big 3 play anybody but USF. Treat folks badly, and word gets round.... ok. Good thing you wrote it on our message board. Im sure it will get to the athletic department. Your apology letter will be in the mail shortly.

There was no one stopping YOUR whole band from coming but YOUR school. True colors shown there..... Patrick you're an idiot.... Anytime a school brings their band, that school has to buy the tickets. In this case the seats were $50 each IIRC) Chiefs/FSU made the decision DURING THE SPRING SEMESTER that they wouldn't be bringing their entire band. Because of their budget, they could only send the full band to the UM game or the FSU game so they made the choice to send the full band to the UM game (They're paying for those seats to). Every decision in this process was made by FSU/Chiefs and USF had absolutely no imput in it. Now go back to Orlando and finish your degree in people greeting at Pirates of the Caribbean. Wrong When tickets are released to the opposing team, those ticket are also to used by the visiting university themselves. This includes all departments such as the administration, athletics, AND THE MARCHING BAND. It is the decision of the visiting university on how to use the tickets, including if they are to be used by the band The visiting school (and their departments) are to decide if its worth the cost of to purchase the tickets themselves. This includes the marching band department. Also remember that most of the time, the band requires two tickets per person (since the equipment normally takes up a 2nd seat) and the added travel costs. If the school decides its worth the cost, it purchases the tickets, if not, the visiting team just sells them to their fans. Any unused tickets are then returned to the home school, and the visiting school is not charged for them. AND IN CASE YOU DIDN'T KNOW... FSU reduced their non-athletic budget, which includes the Marching Chiefs, two years ago. Due to this, they reduced the number of games their full band travels to. So, before you start posting stupid baseless rants and attempting to pass them as fact... DO SOME RESEARCH. You never know when someone here has worked with the department that handles what your attempting to talk about... and makes you look like an idiot. PLAY SOMETHING!!! I'm not referring to when we are about to snap the ball, yes its best to stay quiet. But during a time out, dead ball, pause in action, its PATHETIC that I am sitting 2 sections away from the band section (138), and I can hear the FSU band start, and the fans becoming rowdy. But when I look over to HOT's section, they are just standing around. dogma, we are in the same section, what row are you in? I'm in N Row F

HOT got owned by a pep band just like our fans got owned by visitors in "our" stadium. Move along, move along.
