Since Holtz's arrival the defense has been on the decline. If the decision was made to only replace the defensive coordinator, who would you seek?

  • Randy Shannon (Current TCU LB Coach)
  • Kevin Steele (Former Clemson DC and Baylor HC)
  • Tyrone Nix (Former South Carolina DC)
  • Others (?)

When cosh came in didn't they say they were leaving the defense they already had in place and not installing "his" defense?

Its hard to find someone who is already DC to be USF DC.. I'd USF to find the best DC to be USF head coach. Like Ala or LSU's DC?

USF couldn't afford Kirby Smart. He's making 850k a year...

Shannon would be a maybe but with all the hullabaloo going on at Miami, it'd be risky for us. Besides, TCU is doing work right now.

No chance Steele leaves that job for a DC over here.

Nix is a maybe I think. I think if the team were doing better he would be more inclined to come, but right now? lol
