Personally I think I lean to towards this game. We were what, 7 years old at the time of the Army game, we're just 3 years into the I-A transition, and were at the same level (same conference) as them. It was a bad loss for sure. But we have the talent (atleast on paper) to compete for a conference championship this year and an orange bowl birth (as unlikely as that seems now). To lose to an average (not even a good mid-major like Nevada) like Ball St. is simply bad. Bad, bad, bad, bad, BAD.

Army by far.....

This was just embarrassing, but not the worse yet

In times like this I like to quote Homer Simpson

Bart: "today was the worst day of my life"

Homer: "worst day of your life.... so far"

The correct quote is this, paraphrased a bit to fit the situation:

Peter Gibbons: So I was sitting in front of my TV today, and I realized, ever since I finished watching the Ball State game, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life.

Dr. Swanson: What about today? Is today the worst day of your life?

Peter Gibbons: Yeah.

Dr. Swanson: Wow, that's messed up.

This now makes the Rutgers loss not so bad. At least Rutgers are conference rivals where Ball State is a MAC team. Come on! This is terrible

Worst thing is we got beat the exact same way with no adjustments made on defense.

I agree. I really felt defensively, I was watching the same game again
