Did anyone else notice that the game clock ran for a few more seconds several times when we got 1st downs? It seemed like they would delay the stop and on the last drive seemed to cost us 5-10 seconds

Big surprise, the announcer said it was the same crew as last week.

This has always bothered me: If you know the officiating will be crappy and questionable (it always is with BE crews), then why would you have a "strategy" to win by a small margin where 1 call could make the difference in who wins the game. Shouldn't the strategy be to blow teams out? Or IS that the strategy but we are so bad that the games are always close?

Did anyone notice a holding call, against them, and the next play is 1st and 16? What?

Holding is a spot foul. 10 yards from the hold. It the Hold happens 4 yards up the field then it's knocked back 10 yards from there.
