Other than that we should be favored to lose. 1-6 or 2-5 could be very realistic. Skip and his staff need to instill a new, heightened sense of urgency. There is no doubt about it. We are seeing the same old same old from our team. Same plays with no results leading to the same mistakes and turnovers. It looks like everything is easy to stop against us and whatever we face is impossible. Our Coordinators suck. We have yet to actually get players in the right spots and right routes. Its embarassing and we cannot be so unrealistic anymore. Even when we were ranked we werent that good and WE KNOW IT. We were #2 in the nation cause EVERYONE lost and we got embarassed by the same team. It never ends. We are a mediocre team and our fans need to understand it. Lower our expectations. Anyone who watches this team with regularity understands that this team routinely underperforms. The players appear to be motivated to play high profile games, but seem unmotived and unprepared in the other 10 games or so of the year. This team doesn't just need a coahing change it needs to change its culture. We should free up some money and hire someone to motivate the team... if we just had someone getting paid to do that... maybe better yet, a whole staff of people. Optimistic me says 8-4 with losses to UL, Cincy, and Pitt/Cuse. In reality, I don't want to think about it, I could easily see 4-8, 5-7.

But I think we def beat Louisville this year, teams that have stout defenses are the only ones really that are gonna expose us. I'm throwing a W up for FSU just because if they beat Clemson they're gonna overlook us hard. CINCY and PITT to me are tossups so I split the difference. Miami is down. CUSE has looked decent but we match up well against them. The teams that are gonna give us the most trouble are the good defensive units IMO. I think 9-3 is possible, but so is 6-6. The only game I would be shocked if they won is Florida State, the only game I'd be shocked if they lose is Ball State. Louisville is looking like a tough game obviously, but two hours ago when the Cardinals were pounding North Carolina it looked a lot worse than it does now, after they let UNC back in the game and had to make a last-minute goal line stand to preserve the win. Still will be a tough game to win, on the road in a series that has been dominated by the home team.
