The Beefs on campus is poorly run and not ideal for watch parties. All the TVs are too high so you have to strain your neck, and they rarely have the big projector screen going unless you call the day before and ask if they're showing the USF game on it. Throw in slow service and higher prices, plus no beer before 5:00, just not a good combo.

The campus Beef's is the biggest failure on campus... everything Outrunner said is spot on...

Gotta remember, early on, one of the problems that Beef's faced was employees of the university imbibing on company time (hence the five-o'clock-nowhere policy).

Maybe it's a candidate for Bar Rescue.

Not just slow service, but poor slow service. I've been there many times and can count on one hand the number of times I had good service. My favorite was the time I ordered a basket of nuclear wings and had to endure the heat without water because the waitress kept forgetting to grab it.

Actually went for a beer last Friday night- wow. There were only two other people at the bar and it still took ten minutes to get someone's attention. The "manager", who looked maybe 12 or 13, was more interested in checking out his employees (can't say I really blame him) than doing his job.
