WTF? Typical Nevada offense. It is centered around the performance of the QB. Cody Fajardo has been good, so far, but has been fumbling prone recently. Stefphon Jefferson is a work-horse built a lot like Demetris Murray, and he did well against Cal, but Fajardo is the center-piece. Chris Ault has been on record saying he is a better passer than Kaepernick and just as good as a runner as Kaepernick (coach-speak way of saying he is better?). He is to be taken very seriously. "The Union" is pretty good as well, very experienced.

I never considered USF to have a high powered offense. Edited September 6, 2012 by Gismo

This is an excellent opportunity to completely double the number of check-marks in the USF win column. If the USF defense can keep the Wolfpack from scoring more points than the Bulls, there's a very good chance that USF comes out of this one a winner. Now, about that "invisible line".... We're stout up the middle and quick on the ends. Over agressiveness may be one thing they could exploit with draws, delayed hand-offs and counter runs. Discipline will be key. Hopefully the outcome is wrong.

What?? Just like we stopped Ray Graham last year? Our weakness has always been downhill running teams. UConn, Rutgers, Pitt, Etc. Did you see the highlights from the Nevada Cal game? http://scores.espn.go.com/ncf/video?gameId=322450025 All 3 of Jefferson's rushing touchdowns were scored by runs right through the tackles. We are a really fast team, but our team speed is negated when you run right at us. I really hope they try to run outside all night.

I think we will see a change in that pattern.

To add, they are claiming to have several NFL caliber o-linemen on their line this year. Great o-lines + down hill running games generally give us fits. We'll see how it all goes down on Saturday.
