We could use some rebranding. I hate ESPN and what they have done. Just take a look at the ******** "Herbie Awards." Not one Big East school player mentioned in any of his awards, yet when it comes to the catagory of the next coaches to take a higher profile job, Skip Holtz and Charlie Strong are both on there, as if our schools are not "Big Tim" schools. ESPN has **** all over college football, and this isnt the last of it.

it means absolutely nothing has changed, the new commissioner sees us as entitled and has no idea that we are falling behind, and therefore proposes further steps back in competition by adding middling teams.

While I agree in sentiment, I don't know that ESPN has done that as much as they've invaded, conquered, and annexed most of it. The Big East has been the one area of resistance and ESPN hasn't taken too kindly to it, so I'm not surprised about the snub in the Herbie Awards, but I also don't put any stock into it.

to his credit, major teams aren't lining up to be part of the Big East. Or did I miss something?
