I don't think people will travel from coast to coast for a football. At this point I would rather hear contraction talk rather than expansion talk. There are too many teams and no consistency in the conference between football and the other sports.

it means absolutely nothing has changed, the new commissioner sees us as entitled and has no idea that we are falling behind, and therefore proposes further steps back in competition by adding middling teams.

BYU has finished ranked 4 out of the last 5 years, inluding a top 15 rank in 2007 and 2009. I'd hardly put them as "middling".

it doesnt matter who is in our conference since we are on the outside looking in with no chance to play for the big prize

everyone should just be prepared now:

If we go to NBC... the only time you will ever see the big east is on NBC.

We will have no exposure on gameday and as little as possible on the nightly sportscenter shows.

As opposed to all the exposure we have now on ESPN? Screw em ... We were going to need to make noise on the field anyway to get noticed so we may as well as do it on somebody that really want us, NBC.

You are absolutely correct, sir. The only time USF is on is when we have a mid-week game and the announcers insist on talking about the top 10 teams during the game anyway.....
