Terrence Mitchell is the shock for me....I didn't expect much from him at WR if he is pushing to be a number one with Sterling wow....if BJ can get the WR and TEs the ball our passing game could be sick. Our offense should not have much problem putting up some points this year.

not sure why people expected anything out of Pierre.

He was brought in as an insurance policy, in case we needed him.

Apparently, they like him, but don't want to burn his redshirt if he won't get enough carries per game.

So, it seems that he is likely to redshirt.

Pierre is a JUCO transfer, he will not redshirt

Interesting... Holtz and staff's comments to both papers seem to dispute that. Pierre is expected to redshirt this year.

relly? I haven't read that in any of the articles I've read, but I could've missed it. With that said, I could be wrong, but I just wouldn't excpect it, he only has two years of eligibility left and isn't he coming in as a Junior?

Realistically, the #1 and #2 WR notation isn't really important as we'll typically use 5-6 WR fairly evenly throughout the game/season.

My thinking with T-Rex is that with Lamar moving back to RB, T-Rex will be the go-to for the outside bubble screens, WR sweeps, etc.... His speed and "scatback" like ability would make him a real danger on those type of plays.

Yes but he still has his red shirt to use... so whereas he might not get much playing time this year you never know in the next 2 years... From what I understand he's ok with it and the coaches are ok with it.

I believe Josh Brown is also a potential redshirt. Players have five years to play four, whether they spend time at JuCo or not.

seems like a bit of a project to me...

hope he excels... has on offer from Oregon too supposedly

Well Daniel has now made the 2 deep as a true Freshman. Your keen powers of observation at work once again. And for those who pay attention to stars he was a 2 star prospect on Scout.

Who else would be ahead of him with Juju and Lynch left out? Being in the second spot with those two out isn't as impressive as you're making it out to be.
