UGA is the team with all the issues with players getting arrested in the offseason and it happens year after year. They have like 4 this year.

But as for Holtz and Woolard is saying, its true. People, 24 years from now will look back at lessons learned, not w/l. Fans are selfish. They don't care what a team does to win. They don't care if winning means cheating, just don't get caught. There is so much more going on than w/l. Its why programs that have poor records for decades still field a team. Going through adversity and making it through the other side, without quitting or cheating builds character and better citizens. Winning and the quest to be the best has brought out much of the "ugly" American attitude that outsiders see. A Chinese girl wins a swim meet by a large margin and doping is the first thing an American says. An American girl does virtually the same thing and that same guy is silent. So saying this is "loser talk" just means you don't get it, its not always about winning, its about building a foundation for this young men who later in life will remember the lessons learned in the program.

This is the kind of coach I want teaching my kid.

"Look, if we build it the right way and we graduate our players and we have good people and we do everything we can and we still don't win and I'm let go here, I can live with myself because we did it the right way. I believe we are doing it the right way. And I believe we're going to win.''
