Out of those I'm gonna say about 50 of them have a better coverage reading and more NFL-type QB than Daniels. But the Maxwell preseason list is only 35 long??????? My bad. The O'Brien Was that sarcasm? If college awards meant anything in the NFL then Jason White, Chris Weinke, and Danny Wuerffel would all be in the NFL Hall of Fame. Has he learned to walk on water yet? And, no, to BJ in the NFL.

ckparrothead Posted August 2, 2012 Group: Member Topic Count: 5 Content Count: 957 Reputation: 49 Days Won: 1 Joined: 05/25/2011 Share Posted August 2, 2012 B.J. is a walking shame. I have rarely seen his combination of feet and arm strength. In fact, I haven't seen it since Michael Vick. But he just doesn't have the it factor you need at that position, and beyond that you're looking at total projection, trying to get him to a different position. If Matt Grothe were a little bigger I'd have felt comfortable with him at fullback, a little faster and I'd have even tried him at tailback. His tailback vision, not his QB vision but tailback vision, was really incredible. Daniels' feet are really something special though, so I'm not ruling him out at tailback. He's got the build for it and he's got enough speed, unlike Grothe. He doesn't have the same vision, part of why he's not as effective a quarterback. Only if he has a Heisman type of year will he be drafted, most likely 6th round or less. If he chooses to select an alternative position he can show case after this season and let NFL teams know he can be a utility player he might also have a shot, again only if he produces positive numbers (Stats, combine, ect) The last college QB to I can think of that I can compare BJ to that made a dent in the NFL is Antwaan Randle El from IU. He almost had the same numbers and results (scary) but show cased his ability to play WR because he knew he was limited to going to the NFL as a QB. Thus, BJ will have to either have a STELLAR 2012 season or make it know he can play something else other than QB.
