Agreed. Having kids WANT to be Bulls is part of our history. It was the reason we were able to climb so high. It wasnt because we were more talented than other teams. Not to say we should just offer anyone who wants to play here, but if they are decent enough, why not? Unless you would be taking a scholly from a 5* player, go for it.

I don't know anything about this kid, or his football skills. I hope he is a great player, comes here and does great things.

But there are LOTS and LOTS of football players that aren't good enough that would love to play at USF just because they can't get another DI sniff. You don't offer a player that isn't good enough.

Davis is playing in the Hillsborough county all star game this Saturday at Ray Jay - east Hills vs west hills...some major talent is going to be on that field, a few already comitted to USF...hope Coach T comes out to see some of these guys in person - and has some scholly papers in his back pocket!

Understood... but those players don't run a 4.28. Here we have a kid who is one of (if not the) fastest players in the state, is good academically, and really wants to be on the team. To me, the totality of the circumstances screams offer him now, despite his size. Obviously it's not my decision but I sure hope he gets the scholly.

Again, lots of players can run really fast and aren't good football players. I'll trust the coaching staff to do the evaluation.

didn't we have a RB last year that was the same case? He ended up going somewhere else bcuz we never offered. Can't remember his name, but i remember the board was pretty divided about it
