More to the point, what are doing reading it on PAPER in the first place? LOL I'm still in a retro zone.... reading both PAPERS over weekday lunch is a decades old tradition for me

Crazy how all these kids commit so early now. What happened to playing your senior year, improving your worth, landing more offiers, and deciding on a school? Are these kids worried they may lose a spot?

Hope he likes cold weather. Crazy how all these kids commit so early now. What happened to playing your senior year, improving your worth, landing more offiers, and deciding on a school? Are these kids worried they may lose a spot? Yes. Classes are filling up earlier and they don't want to be left behind. As we have seen the past few years, there are now more decommiits later on, because someone else gave them a better offer. If there was an early signing period, like in basketball, we wouldn't have this problem. As it stands now, schools have to continue to woo their verbals right up until signing day.
