Glad the 'Noles fans are chiming in on the fact that they are already buying their tickets. I don't blame them personally for buying those blocks of seats - heck, it's a coveted game. I've already booked my flight from Texas for that weekend. It's on us as fans to make sure we counter whatever numbers they bring by being twice as loud and twice as passionate - I look forward to the banter myself. It's not their fault that we can't sell out our stadium. Our alumni base in Tampa is large enough that it should never be an issue... however we all realize Tampa offers many options similar to Miami. Hopefully we'll pack the place... and I don't personally care if there are 40,000 Noles fans as long as we send them back to Tally with a loss. Those of us that will be there will be loud. #GreenandGold4Ever

Im a Noles fan and was just reading your board and wanted to inform you guys that the USF ticket office is selling group tickets to FSU fans by the buttload. I just received 25 tickets in the club section 232 and i know another group of 30 people from work who also received their tickets. I also know several people that have purchaed USF season tickets to guarantee their seat for the game. Expect a great amount of NOLES in the lower bowls as well as the upper.

Uh, Glad to hear it.

Don't forget that it is USF 1, FSU 0.

No doubt DataBull, I was Tally for that. I actually got my tickets through and FSU season ticket holder I know. I had a perfect view of the "GREEN AND GOLD CORNER" I'm not sure what the exact number of tickets USF sold for that game, but we had to be at least 20,000 strong. I would imagine that would be the same amount of FSU fans in Ray Jay this year, on problem is:

Doak - 83,000

RJS - 65,000

Through the school we sold 12,000.

I don't think the casual FSU Fan even realizes they are playing USF in Tampa this year. I don't thinkg the casual USF fan does either.

We will do well with selling a ton of tickets, but I suspect a ton of FSU fans will be there too. I'd predict 65% USF and 35% FSU.

I think FSU should dump the annual Miami series in favor of an annual USF series. There seems to be more fan interest, at the stadium anyway.

Don't they have the Miami series because of the ACC affiliation?

It's more locked in because of that yes, but FSU and Miami met on an annual basis for years before they joined up in the ACC.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
