Is this a possible sacraficial lamb to try to get Pitt and Cuse to stay? With the ACC locked into a TV contract, and possible rumors of them losing 2 of their top 3 draws (Clemson/FSU), would it still make sense for them to make the jump if the Big East can negotiate a larger TV contract with them?

MWC will still not be able to offer any where near the money the Big East will likely get with their new TV contract. Boise could still stay, but money was a big driver in their decision and not just the BCS AQ tag.

Disagree completely ... The only thing that keeps the Newest Big East halfway palatable is the tradtional college basketball programs still here. You cut them loose and the confeence bcomes an overall bigger joke ..... God forbid, lose Louisville and maybe Notre Dame down the line, it will be worse than the CUSA we left.
