To further answer #2, it has always been the east side of the stadium only (most likely so the tv angle has a crowd).

If you can only make one game I would suggest the spring game on campus. It's a much better atmosphere than the one at RJS.

Plus, there's talk of having it in Corbett, which I think will be awesome to watch the games from the berms.

It rained POURED on fan day.

Doh!

I got them confused... it always pours at Fan Fest... it is always nasty hot for the RJS Spring Game.

Does anyone know what time the Spring game will start? I noticed that the Autism Speaks walk is the same day in the morning at RayJ. Could be a good opportunity to do the walk and then start tailgaiting extra early afterwards.

I would be all for the scrimmage at Corbett.

I know many people like walking on the field for fan day... but in my opinion, it wouldn't be the worst idea to have it in the new Basketball Arena this coming year. It would really show the new place AND the football fans wouldn't have to deal with the Africa heat or Noah type rain storms. (if it's completed by then obviously)

As a back-up if the Sun Dome isn't ready, at least set up the Autographs before hand in the hallways at RJS, away from the heat/rain and save the field for kid activities...

just my 2 cents as I remember being stuck for an hr during that rainstorm last year... that was some epic rain...

That sounds like a wonderful idea. The Sundome will definitely be open at that point. Its going to be open for Spring graduation.

The only problem with this plan is that a major part of Fan Fest is selling season tickets. That can't be done as easily in the Sundome.
