his QB his last year at ECU was 6 foot 200 lbs.

he was not some 6'5" rocket arm QB that put up video game stats

He passed for 30 yards less per game than Daniels.

He rushed for 50 yards less per game.

He had 15 TD to 12 Int

he had a lower completion percentage

His rating was 10 points lower than Daniels. He passed for almost a full yard less per attempt.

His RBs averaged less yards per carry and less TDs per game.

Skip and Fitch benefited from playing in a conference that didn't care about defense.

They don't have some miracle system that they are just waiting for the right QB to run.

please stop using this excuse.

another reason stats are for losers (in college football, particularly with USF players due to our joke of a schedule):

BJ against garbage teams ( FAMU , UTEP , Ball State )

7 TDs, 1 INT

Passer rating: 165.6

Avg # of passing yards per game: 297.6 (without playing the entire games...)

BJ against Big East

4 TDs, 4 INT

Passer Rating: 116.1

Avg # of passing yards per game: 242

including miami/notre dame

5 TDs, 5 INT

lower rating by ~1-2 points

again i dont think this matter but for comparison purposes:

Pinkney against conference

11 TDs, 6 INT

Passer Rating: 139.2

Pinkney and ECU didnt get the luxury of padding their stats against the likes of 3 garbage teams...

instead they played way over their head against UNC, WVU, VT, Arkansas

Playing the defenses of uab, Memphis, Marshall, Tulane or rice prevent padding stats.

there is a difference... they have less ECU has less talent and its not like a BCS team is going up against them...

and the big east is pretty much garbage in its own right... we have our own rices (we might be one of them now).

Every team in the big east is better than the 5 I just listed. The big east is not the sec but it is much better overall than cusa.

It was not BJ that lost us the pitt, cincy, Rutgers or conn games.

not that hard see...

there is a hierarchy in CFB...

SEC sees the BE as padding stats

BE sees CUSA as padding stats (most of them)

CUSA sees SunBelt as padding stats

This is comparing each QBs performance within their team's level of play.

BJ def didn't lose those games...Doesn't mean hes a good QB.
