Using mediocre players to beat mediocre teams is an accomplishment. USF has above average players and in conference plays above average teams. I'd say comparing ECU vs conference opponents is a fair comparison to comparing USF to conference opponents. thank you... i fail to see how people do not realize this... its hilarious

You continue to be completely misinformed. They in fact beat VT and WVU in back to back weeks. its just blind support of BJ... Many of us do not think BJ is terrible... just not the right fit... he has developed nicely this year but I do not believe the staff has enough trust in him to open up the playbook. Too vanilla. Houston(10) ranks higher than any team in the BE and yet their schedule strength ranks 111th . no schedule in the BE ranks worse than

I was comparing his last year at ECU to this year. that's great he beat them both in 2008. he then followed that up with 3 straight losses. one of them to a nc state team we beat 41-10 and a virginia team that duke beat 31-3. I just want to point out for all those that think skip is some kind of offensive guru and BJ is the one holding him back, it's not the case. his QB at ECU was no better than BJ. his offenses at ECU were no better. they scored less points and had less yards. this isn't mike leach were talking about. it's time some of you open your eyes and stop blaming the 20 year old kid and start blaming the $1.7M coach who designed this offense that was no more effective when he coached at ECU.
