IF he starts, I think he plays the whole game unless he is injured, regardless of performance. Personally I still think BJ will play.

why are all the options negative? i'm not big on Eveld either, but we haven't seen him start this season and he hasn't had any gameplanning around him. he's played garbage time against weak opponents and filled in for BJ against Miami. let's see what he does with the start.

How many wrong routes will be run and how many drops will he have to endure?

How many missed blocks will he have to avoid?

This ain't a one man game.

I just hope the O-line is able to give him enough time, Bobby saw a lot of pressure against Miami last week ... I'm sure quick outs and bubble screens will be the MO at least in the beginning tomorrow on passing plays. Need a big boost from Murray and Scott tomorrow.

The offense behind Eveld will be played very safe. I have zero expectations. If he couldn't come into the game with a comfortable lead against sub par defenses and be productive, I cannot be optimistic about him starting against a very good defense. I hope he proves me wrong; I would like nothing more.

This is a topic about how long Eveld will play if he plays like crap. I'm not saying he will, but if he does then how long will he play?

This should answer your question. When was the last time you saw Holtz bench BJ because he was stinking it up?

I think Holtz and co. should open up the playbook and take some shots down the field. This team has nothing to lose, so why not see what kind of qb this kid is. Even if BJ plays I would like to see them try something different.
