Absolutely pathetic. Villanova succeeding in keeping Temple out proves that we could have kept UCF out. Genshaft caved. I'm writing them a letter about this, and if I'm not happy with the response I get, I'm cutting off my yearly donation.

I dont want to be associated with that school, this is rediculous that we are letting them in our conference.

The problem here is that Nova is a private school and the state gov't of Pennsylvania really doesn't have much right to force them to accept Temple in the league.  That's probably why Temple was football only in the past too.

With UCF, we are all state schools.  UF could not actively block FSU from their conference.  From our standpoint, we sponsored the motion to add UCF, so if it failed then our hands are clean, though some would have cried manipulation.  

I think the rules would be different if it were a case of blocking Miami from joining another conference because they are not a state school.  Whereas UCF and USF have oversight from the same body.

Champ game in NY would be a disaster. No one would go see USF-Boise in NY in Dec. It has to be at the highest seed's home field.
