I'm surprised (just a little) they have us that high, hopefully it will translate to AP and Coach's Polls. Go Bulls!

Ok guys, you know are team needs work.  We beat ND by letting them make mistakes and we place mistake free (conservative) football.  But we should not be ranked until we get through the next 4 games.

Can't wait to see Case Keenum bring these kanigits down.

They did make some mistakes -- but our D gets some credit for creating turnovers and exploiting mistakes.

And the teams that are ranked, why exactly should they be ranked before they get through their next ?? games? After week 1, pretty much every team needs work, but, we have one of the best week 1 wins and should be ranked. You know, if by some miracle, we were to go undefeated this season, the longer we're not ranked, the less likely it is that we'll work our way into the No. 2 spot.

I really don't know why our fans are afraid of being ranked. It's meaningless in the grand scheme of how we prepare every week, but is huge from a perception standpoint and our program can only benefit from rankings. If we get to say 24 this week, we *should* win the next 3 and be moving up the whole time. We win the most difficult out of our first 4, and people think we need to win the ones we should before people give us any respect?

You know what. That's how Good football teams win games against powerful opponents, they don't make mistakes(not too many anyway). We deserve what we got. We beat a ranked team, on the road in one of the biggest home field advantage spots in the country. We deserve everything that comes from it. Skip isn't gonna let this team fall apart if we wind up ranked tomorrow.

Not that either participant would have been ranked, but there is still a game to be played tonight.  I would have thought this would come out later this evening

That was a big win regardless of what anyone tries to say.  Look at the stats for ND playing those games.  Visiting teams on the opener DON'T WIN VERY OFTEN and ND isn't a "crap" team.  Seeing them in person was a lot different than when I watched the replay back.  We'll have to see how they end up, but there's no doubt there's talent on that squad.  Things went our way and if this offense can start clicking pared up with this defense and ST units, we're definitely a top 25 team.

I'm not too concerned as long as they don't receive a ranking in the AP poll-that's the one that counts.

UCF will fall once Case Keenum carpetbombs their defense.
