GOLD FTW!

our colors are green and GOLD, not green and WHITE!  where else do we even attempt to show gold on our uniforms if not for our helms?  c'mon folks!

green helmets are a win, but only if we can get mor gold in the jerseys.  hopefully gold pants for future, or a gold jersey with green pants.  where are all those old photos of possible uniforms ideas someone drew up?  please post pics!  :P

would be interesting to know if the green helmet above was pitted against the white ones if the age of the voter would trend with each helmet.  My guess is the majority of older USF fans favor the white vs. the opposite with the green.  I'm about to turn 33, but I find the white helmets along with white unis to be absolutely boring.  It takes no imagination at all to draw up those unis and they don't lend themselves to good marketing materials either.  When I see those white helmets, all I see are Marshall and a "USF" version of the UCF unis.

I know some of you will say the green helmet above reminds you of Oregon, but hell, I'd rather have that comparison with a school backed by marketing genius than schools who probably took their designs from a local middle school drawing contest...

I'm 41, I favor the green concept helmet over the white.

How does the white helmet, with the green Iconic U with a gold stroke around it look like Marshall?  Answer:  It doesn't. 

I do like the gold helmet and green Iconic U with a white stroke.  That is pretty cool, and would be pretty unique to USF.  I can't think of another helmet I've seen like that one.

Back in the 70's I believe, FSU had a different helmet for the offense, defense, & special teams.
