yeah, the chant "hey tom.  shut up" was aimed at the writer of the original hooligan article.  but the writer of this article also takes a shot at the hooligans.

Hey I just wanted to say this site is pretty cool. Wish I had known about it earlier.

Also, I'm glad you guys stand up, cuz my section sure as hell didn't!!!! The last game I was at was the Memphis game. There was a left section and a right section, and by fate I chose the right. Everyone on the left was standing and cheering and was really into it- the right side was very very quiet and seemed not even to care. After about 10 minutes, I got the courage to stand up and cheer the team on, i didn't care what people thought. Then I got a remark from someone behind me, "I wish people would sit down so I could watch the game!"

Still stood. Didn't care. Glad I did. But wish a seat opened up on the left side.

We ended up losing, but I had fun. And you could tell that left side did as well. Meanwhile, the right side mumbled and left.

That pretty well describes our fan base. Why the right side even showed up is beyond me, but it seems that we have half apathetic and half roaring to go. Screw the apathetic, we need to work on building a fan base of people who wanted to come here and didn't just get shut out of Miami or Florida or wherever the hell they didn't get into.

I'm proud to be a Bull d*** it! Glad everyone else here is too. I've never heard of the SBC, but im interested.

Thanks guys (and girls). Made my day to see other people cheer on the school too.

Glad to hear that Eric.  Go ahead and register as a poster on this board and continue to stand and cheer at games.  Talk to bigbull on the board as he is the president of SBC and you oughta join up.
