  1. USF football: optimistic and excited USF basketball: apathetic and embarassed
  2. A true Bulls bar should be set up by a true Bulls fan, not by some random entrepreneur who sees that we have over 40k in a student base and thinks there is a market for it. That goes for all official school bars too! If everyone on this board all sat together in a meeting to create the ultimate Bulls sports bar, i'd bet dollars to donuts it would be very succesfull, even if it was a little farther from the Bull Ring.
  3. The Bull Ring was set up all kinds of wrong, there's a reason to every failure.
  4. Question, do they still have red sox and bucs stuff up on the walls?? My biggest gripe with the place when I went was that I was expecting an "official Bulls bar" to have all Bulls stuff.
  5. The Bull Ring sucks, sorry but i'd rather support the greenery and the clubhouse, or better yet a pub right on campus.
  6. We always struggle at the beginning of the season, this being said, two points: 1.) Auburn will be even more of a true test of where this team stands, and where it will head at the end of the 2007 schedule. 2.) We should be able to beat the tinmen handily, as everyone will already be in midseason form. This will be a good test of how we really compare to UCF. Those are just my two observations, everything else about the schedule looks great. I'm excited, GO BULLS!!
  7. I noticed the same thing today. Is it the Glazers that make a call on that? I was also thinking that maybe it was intentional publicity for the city of Tampa, because midfield had a huge Outback logo.
  8. What time is that going to be again?? I'll be bringing my crew for sure!
  9. I've always disliked Edsall, and I think his quote makes him look like more of a moron.
  10. ugg, that design is kinda gross What about something more funny/trashtalking?
  11. great, awesome. thanks again! I'd love to help any fellow Bulls out.
  12. I don't know if this has been addressed in another thread, but is the AD coordinating an effort to donate tickets again? I'm interested in buying 5 more on top of the 10 i'm already going to use just for it to count against our allotment. We should all push for everyone to do this, especially because the tickets are so cheap. Just buy one more ticket and donate it, not only are you helping USF's recognition as a potentially good bowl traveling team, but you're also giving tickets to a charity of some sort. Ok, stepping off the soap box now...
  13. I meant to USF, he is a good enough recruiter in the state of Florida that NCST may retain him. He's enjoying life well enough with his wife making a good living that he may even consider coaching high school. He just bought a huge house up there and loves it. But things change, so I guess we'll see.
  14. Kravitz will not come back, I have a source very close to his family
  15. Which hotel was the official hotel when we played Alabama a few years ago? That place was pretty nice from what i remember...
  16. hey, while we're on the subject of HOT, does anyone know what that one song they play is that kind of sounds like a rap song and certain parts of the band sing during it? i think they say "where my bulls at" but i'm not sure.
  17. This sucks, no more proper tailgating for the rest of the season >
  18. Offense B+ Defense B- Special Teams C- Coaching D+ In my opinion, the defense has underachieved this year and the offense has overachieved. The only bright spot on special teams is Ean Randolph (even if most of his returns have been called back). And of course coaching has sucked the big one. I don't have a problem with Leavitt, but he needs to bring in better offensive minds, maybe someone in I-AA on the up and up so it wouldn't cost a pretty penny and also pick up a decent QB coach to groom Grothe's raw talent.
  19. Absolutely 100% wrong. We've had the same offense/offensive playcallying since the Marquel Blackwell days, it's just that they have finally found a QB that can fill Marquel's shoes. We have a system that does not adapt to the players' style playing in it, but rather it expects the players to step up and be what the system calls for. This, in my opinion, is our biggest problem. We just don't have coaches with the experience/knowledge to adjust certain aspects of a system to suit the players they have.
