You win some, you lose some kids. This thread is almost as entertaining as the one on your main board where you are trying to convince yourselves that we aren't rivals. The bigger the thread gets, the more obvious it is that you are correct. As we have multi-page threads for ALL of our non-rivals too. I do not believe that we have a rivalry in football, yet. It will happen sooner rather than later. But it isn't here at this time. In other sports, it is clear that the rivalry already exists. Also, the following quote is the reason that I'm not too upset about losing Benjamin. I've felt this way since Josh mentioned it weeks ago. Josh Newberg said... I can't put my finger on it, but something scares me about Benjamin. He's transferred three times in three years, he hops from offense to defense. He is a very good WR and all of a sudden wants a shot at safety? Just a lot of things that I don't understand.

How may warning signals were there? I am beginning to wonder if he really had a commitable offer or whether USF because of neighborhood ties was too gracious to leave him dangling. I'm surprised we haven't had a meltdown of some sort during the offseason, but yes, you are correct, mid-football season is prime time for TBP meltdowns. Over one kid? Sure he's a talented athlete... but if he goes to UCF there's a reason for it... it's not like he is going to USC or Michigan or Bama... Bailey is a WR... which we're loaded at. It's not a position of need.

The same can be said for Bailey. We knew that once UCF joined the Big East, they would need to bring in better players to compete and there is more opportunity there at some positions, like WR.
