How long have Hargreaves Jr and Holtz coached together?

Have they been together for the last 4-5 years?

If so its an indictment on Holtz as a recruiter... he preaches family foot ball but cant get a guy whos been with him for at-least the kids entire HS career... maybe longer?

The guy had over 40 offers - he could write his ticket. Not too many prospects can say that. And someone in the thread on the main board made a great point - does he really want his college experience to include his dad looking over his shoulder all 4-5 years? Would you?

I'm thrilled that we were somewhere in the top order for a while, but I'd say getting him was always somewhat of a long shot, considering who else was after him.

I'm just glad he's not in the BE - we'd have to run the ball all game. Props to VHIII, hate that you're a Gator, cuz I don't like the Gators, but it's a quality school and in the SEC, you'll get max coverage by the media. Godspeed to you.

Lets ignore that last post... heat of the moment and all... sucks to lose on this one... this is what it means to not be in one of the big conferences... Hargreaves wants to play for a NC... and thats easier to do at UF.

Ask most USF students and even alums...the school that they despise the most is UF with UCF as a distant second. I never expected to get VH3 because it is almost impossible to be able to do your thing with dad as the coach...it's just that choosing UF is like a dagger in the side.
