One more thing: With the exception of UCF, when was USF ahead of any of those teams in the first place?

I think all of those teams....UCF included.....were all in I-A football before us. UConn came in the year before us and were instantly invited into the Big East. We went by way of CUSA.

So I think the only teams out there capable of "Passing us by" would be FAU, FIU, Western Kentucky, South Alabama, Troy....

None of those teams have passed us.

You could say we passed UCF and they have had a good season this year....but as we learned last time UCF won the CUSA championship.....that is still not as good as being the last bowl eligible SEC team......See 2007 6-6 Mississippi State

So Big East and Cincy have passed us by due to past accomplishments, and UCF also passed us by becasue they finished in the BCS this year, even though we also have finished a year ranked in the final BCS standings (stleast 1) maybe 2. I know we were #23 the year before CUSA and think we may have been in there in 07.

The logic dosent add up.

When?  We were 7-5 last year at this time and 7-5 now.  You think we will be worse next year?

Never mind that UCF replaced No. Illinois.  The pollsters don't always get it right.  Unless of course USF was in the Top 25.  THEN it would be correct.  ;D
