USF win Saturday = Sun Bowl invite vs. BC? boston.com thinks so

Boston.com has two scenarios for BC:

1) USF loses vs. UCONN:

USF to Meineke vs. Clemson

WVU to Champs vs. NC State

ND to Sun Bowl vs. Miami

BC to Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl vs. Boise State or Nevada

2) USF wins vs. UCONN:

USF to Sun Bowl vs. BC

WVU to Orange Bowl vs. ACC champ.

ND to Champs vs. NC State

Interesting, but I wanted to go to the Bowl and the Sun bowl sucks because of the travel issue.

Yeah, travel is soooo bad our guys didn't even show up for the game last time.

Seriously, though, the travel issues aren't the only reasons the Sun Bowl would suck.  I don't think USF would be going in any event but I still wouldn't make another trip to the El Paso del Norte Kidnap Bowl.

Bulls won't travel anywhere outside of Florida, so it's a wash. Might as well get the Sun Bowl trophy if possible.

Without question the best bowl so far. The game is also on CBS so more exposure for the program.

Just the name of the Sun Bowl gives me nightmares. Plus El Paso is not exactly the safest city in America these days, I wouldn't recommend partying or even walking the streets at night there unless you bring your own security team with you.

I dont think it will happen, that being said the Sun Bowl was the best bowl bar far we have been to. They put together a very nice bowl game out there. That was one of the best USF trips I have ever been on.

Those who did not go, I would higly reccomend going if given the chance. However I would not cross over into Mexico, even though I did a few years back.

El Paso is safe.  I just wouldn't be crossing the Border into Juarez this go around.

Travels a *****, but El Paso in 2007 was a fun trip, football game excluded.
