bulls sec 235 Posted December 4, 2010 Group: Member Topic Count: 0 Content Count: 23 Reputation: 0 Days Won: 0 Joined: 09/27/2010 Share Posted December 4, 2010 We had a fantastic time in El Paso and would definitely go again. We even took the trolley over to Ciudad Juarez and my husband picked up some gator/croc boots for a great price. The bullspen sponsored a fajita dinner that was fun. We spent an afternoon checking out the Wyler Aerial tramwayhttp://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/spdest/findadest/parks/wyler_aerial_tram/. The stadium is unique as it is cut into a mountain. The locals were wonderful. And I got a awesome t-shirt with the U of the bulls in the shape of a cactus. What more could anybody want? ;D Oh yeah, we could have won. Oh well..... We had a great time, but honestly, it's a once-in-a-lifetime trip. As nice as the Sun Bowl is/was,it's still not a BCS bowl (which is next on the agenda for travel). We toured White Sands, did the day trip to Juarez and the Bullspen party. We flew through Vegas (short stop) on the way back and got to shoot the breeze with a lot of the Oregonplayers (who were baffled at our lack of a 'bowl package of plays', having stuck to everything that was on film). Look , El Pasoisn't really a tourist destination and Juarez is definitely off the charts now. Dinner at Cattlemans pretty much takes care of the agenda. I have tickets to the Capital One Bowl with my Dad the next day and would do anything to get back for that.

JUAREZ, Mexico on the other hand(which is BLOCKS away from El Paso-seriously its scary how close it is) is one of the most DANGEROUS cities in the WORLD. No.3 in the world murder counts. So...don't go to Mexico...and you'll have a great time. Honestly...I loved El Paso and wished we were there longer. El Paso is as American as a Burrito. VERY "cultured(mexican)" vibe there...and watch your cell provider. Cause the Mexican networks like to slip in to your iPhones and run up your roaming charges. lol But all in all...El Paso for USF this year would be REMARKABLE!!! and to play BC!!! HA!!! I get to smack talk my ex's school!!! YES!!! GO BULLS!!!
