Let's look at the positives from yesterdays game

There weren't too many, but we had some players step up and play well in the Big East opener:

1. Dontavia Bogan- He didn't have a spectacular game, 4 catches for 67 yards, but he had a great catch early in the game and was getting open quite often.  I liked what I saw out of him today, and I really hope we can get Sterling out there Thursday.

2. Craig Marshall- Had 3 VERY big sacks today, glad to see him able to get to the quarterback and I hope he can keep it up throughout the year.

3. Kayvon Webster- Led the team in tackles starting in place of Raymond who moved to safety.  Nothing special but he stepped up as and looks like a very good player in the years to come.

4. Lindsay Lamar- When was the last time we took a kickoff to the house?  Mike Jenkins against Cincinnati?  Very cool, looked like our turn around play.

5. Justin Braukhaus-Kahn- Great punter, this kid looks special.  I really feel safe with him punting the ball, he's downed quite a few teams inside the 5.

Defense played lights out except on that long game winning drive. After BJ and his inept performance they were on the field way to long. They must have been exhausted.

Yes, I agree. Remove our errors and we played EVEN to 'Cuse.

Not something to hang your hat on for the season, but it's better than a

huge sinkhole opening at midfield and swallowing both teams.

Okay let me try to positive...

Um... well, hmmmmm?

Oh I got a couple...

1.) Can save money on going to a bowl game this year.

2.) #7 jerseys will be on sale just in time for Christmas.

3.) USF gear will be on clearance everywhere so I can restock my war chest in prep for next season.

4.) Tickets to Notre Dame next year will be very easy to get.
