Smith looks good. WVU can actually throw the ball it seems. Of course, Maryland is horrible as well.

How do I become an announcer? I at least know the rules. They are up there saying that the ball has to go beyond the line of scrimmage on the picked up grounding call. Uhhh, not if there is a receiver there guys. Good effort though.

We'll see how Smith reponds after getting lit up and coughing up the ball that last play. About time a Big East team looks good against a BCS opponent

UCONN - not looking so good.  still trailing Temple mid 2Q

Temple is much improved this year.  UConn should be able to handle them, but Temple showed great progress last year under, I believe, their relatively new coach.  Prolly a better football program at this point than Villanova.

You mean Big East...

I've stated before that we should invite Temple (Big Public university in a big metropolitan area, Philadelphia) to the Big East over tiny little Villanova.  give marquette, depaul, or any of the other midwest Big East basketball schools the big east boot and invite Temple for all sports (especially football).. can you imagine going into Lincoln Financial Field (their home field) and playing the owls?  let the Tampa vs Philly rivalry continue on the college gridiron!

Rivalry with Temple?  I think our goal is to advance our program not take it back to 1996.
