I've stated before that we should invite Temple (Big Public university in a big metropolitan area, Philadelphia) to the Big East over tiny little Villanova.  give marquette, depaul, or any of the other midwest Big East basketball schools the big east boot and invite Temple for all sports (especially football).. can you imagine going into Lincoln Financial Field (their home field) and playing the owls?  let the Tampa vs Philly rivalry continue on the college gridiron!

Rivalry with Temple?  I think our goal is to advance our program not take it back to 1996.

Nope, I had it wrong. They were Big East. Still rather they go to the Big 10.

And I'm not sure they got kicked out because their team was crap (even though it was), but because they could not draw flies to their home games and the league was concerned they were going to be kicked out of 1A because of their low attendance average.

How in the hell does UConn lose to a team that barely beats Nova?

The Dec. 4th match-up against UConn should be a 50-0 USF ass whipping.
