I feel bad for the guy, had a lot of hype and talk about him jumping high on the boards, but he just didn't get picked.  Hope he goes early tomorrow.

He should never talk again to the person who advised him.

I'd think that he should've stayed.  I hope he lands on a team that really needs him and gives him a solid chance to stay on the roster...  but, maybe the ankle injury scared him a little into getting while the getting was good.  I don't know.  I wish him luck.

He should never talk again to the person who advised him.

He didn't announce he was leaving until Leavitt was fired. I don't think he ever confirmed that he left because of that, but I think it's at least very likely that that is why he left. I don't think it's because he thought he was likely to be a second round pick or higher, though it seemed for a moment there like he might be. In any case, if he really didn't want to play his last year under a totally new coaching staff, after playing under multiple offensive coordinators already in his career, then I doubt he's regretting the decision all that much right now.

****...

But there is still some faith in CM...Brandon Marshall was a 4th rounder (albeit because of all his issues) and he turned out to be a Pro Bowler...the only thing Mitchell needs to realize is he won't get paid for 3 to 4 years now.  But if he ends up on the right team, he'll be okay.

Will be having my coffee...waiting and seeing...

Too late for him to turn back now.

Maybe he'll land with the bucs?

Last I checked the scoreboard doesn't have a spot for current bank balance on it.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
